"Readers Are Leaders" Library Project: Are you a primary,
high school, a higher institution or a library? Do you own books you will like to get rid of? We are in desperate need of
reading, science, math, art books. If you also have Educational DVDs, we need them.
These products must be presentable. Regarding textbooks, we are asking that they be current
too. We need books for young children, young adults, vocational books for adults, teachers, inspirational books etc.
To inquire about sending these products to us, please email: giveback@adassafoundation.org
3.) As 2010 rolls in and our time to return to Emure Kingdom
draws near; we need your help to launch the very first Community Library in the state of Ekiti.
Please click here to see the budget needed to set up this community library.
You may choose to either purchase what is needed or send funds to purchase
and ship them to Africa. Either way, we are grateful and the people of Emure Kingdom is grateful.
Regarding
the furniture, the Foundation has decided to build them in Africa to cut costs. Hence, you
may choose to donate to this venture.

Micro Financing (The Dorcas Project): While
our primary focus at Adassa Adumori Foundation is the children in targeted underprivileged communities, we know that these
children’s parents and/or grandchildren need to be empowered to live a life free of poverty. During our recent visit
to Emure
Kingdom, mothers came to us seeking assistance to start small scale businesses.
In Africa, women are very resourceful. They need a “hand
up not a hand down”. We are implementing an Entrepreneurial program where small scale business women will not only
be trained but provided with micro financing.
Every six months, our “Vision
City” Committee in Africa nominates a woman
to receive the award while identifying 20 other women to be trained and equipped to take their businesses to the next level.
Nominations take place: January and August of each year. Donate: Gold $1000.00
Silver $500.00
Bronze $300.00
