AN URGENT NOTE TO OUR CIRCLE OF FRIENDS: SPONSORS, VOLUNTEERS & DONORS "As I ponder over my trip to Africa in January 2009, I am reminded of the young lady who asked me not to forget her. She put my hands on her face and said “Please don’t forget me”.  Today, every time I think about that statement, I tear up.  One thing I do know is that she made a big impression on me.   Sometimes, when we come back from a mission trip, we tend to get back into our old routines’ and forget about the promises we made to many who are really depending on us to make a difference.  Even with all of the many obstacles that we have faced with getting things completed in preparation for our next trip this coming year, I am constantly reminded that it is simply not about me.     Not everyone will believe in the work we are doing or will think it is as important as the next cause.  But God calls certain people to certain missions.
