Adassa-Adumori Foundation, Inc. mission is to develop and support sustainable
projects that create significant positive change in children and families who are growing up in circumstances of social and
economic disadvantages in 3rd world countries, one community at a time.
While many stories have evolved
from the heart of Africa,
this is a story of an African princess who after 23 years of living outside of her community; returns to “repair
the bridge.” It is a story of hope and new beginnings for underprivileged communities in 3rd world countries
and a call to action across the globe to reach out and save lives.
The Adassa – Adumori Foundation is a non-for-profit organization
established by Princess Fumi Ogunleye Hancock, with advisory support from her parents, Prince & Princess Ademola Ogunleye,
the reigning King of Emure - Ekiti, a Yoruba tribe in the Western region of Africa- King Emmanuel Adebayo, Ms Yolanda Shields,
Vice President of Adassa, Inc. and other well wishers both in Africa and the US.
Though
Dr Fumi is of royal descent, she is aware that the issue of poverty is a global
problem which deserves a global solution. We acknowledge that it indeed takes a village to raise a child”. In this spirit,
we are extending our hands to our global community for assistance.
ADASSA’s
Vision is to actively strengthen the community by providing an atmosphere of hope, healing and restoration.
Our goal is to capture the hearts of people in the US to encourage, empower, support and promote self sufficiency
and quality of life in targeted impoverished communities.
