Dr. Theodora Phea Pinnock’s (M.D.) background includes considerable experience
with public awareness and public health programs. She has presented on
pediatric public health issues at conferences of physicians, teachers and educational staff, school psychologists, parents,
daycare staff, and churches. In addition, she has presented to Tennessee
legislature committees on numerous occasions concerning the status and impact of public policy and legislation. Dr. Pinnock
has amassed a rare body of knowledge and experiences, locally, nationally and internationally about the effects of health
and human services designed for delivery to the poor and disadvantaged.
Dr. Pinnock was National Merit Scholarship winner and received her B.A. at Rice
University in Houston, Texas
and her M.D. from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. She completed a pediatric residency program at Washington University School of Medicine’s
St. Louis Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. She completed a post-residency fellowship in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics
at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill. From 1992-97, she served as faculty of the Vanderbilt
University Medical School
in its child development division.
In 2003, Dr. Pinnock brought her background and experience in medical, academic and entrepreneurial areas to
head up the Maternal and Child Health Section of the Tennessee Department of Health.
Under her leadership, the section has significantly expanded home visiting services.
In addition, transitional services have been added to the program for children with special health care needs. She has done statewide training on the importance of developmental screening and practical
application of standardized developmental tools. Also,
she has presented nationally and statewide on the effects of methamphetamine’s effects on children, childhood
obesity, autism, and impact of infant mortality.

Dr. David Allen Hancock received his BSA in
Management Information Systems from the University of Michigan
in 1981. In 1991, Dr. Hancock received a Masters in Interdisciplinary Technology from Eastern Michigan University
culminating years later in his Doctorate in Management and Organizational Leadership. Dr. Hancock brings a wealth of experience
in multiple industries and organizations to provide progressive solutions to today’s organizational issues. Dr. Hancock
spent 22 years, the majority at Ford Motor Company, learning various aspects of the automotive industry… from Information
Technology to Purchasing/Procurement models as well as the science of Logistics and Distribution in Supply Chain Operations
Management. In the Health Care industry, Dr. Hancock has worked with some of the largest healthcare organizations in the United
States, notably Blue Cross Blue Shield and Wellpoint, in the development of new strategies for membership enrollment, claims
processing, business analysis, and project management.
Dr. Hancock spent his formative years in the Detroit
area, but subsequently business interests have lead to experiences living in widely divergent areas of the U.S. A primary consulting assignment with Texas Instruments
in Attelboro, Massachusetts, provided an opportunity to live
in the New England area where he met his beautiful, soon-to-be wife, Princess Fumi Stephanie
Ogunleye, RN., PhD. They later married and relocated, with their two boys, to Orange
County in beautiful Southern California. In 2006,
a fortuitous relocation opportunity presented itself to begin a new home in the Nashville area
of Tennessee, much closer to his two daughters who still live in Michigan, where he devotes his time to consulting and speaking engagements, management research,
and writing.

Mr. Pinnock has spent his entire professional career
in business---primarily in small business development. It began in 1977 in financial
services, first as a commercial underwriter with Aetna Life and Casualty, then as a Registered Representative, Prudential
Financial Services. At Prudential, he was responsible for developing a client
base for the company’s insurance and investment products, selling qualified and non-qualified retirement plans, setting
up insurance-funded buy-sell agreements and advising on charitable giving options.
Afterwards he co-founded and served as President of Alexander, Pinnock
& Company from 1989-1994. The firm sold business insurance and employee benefits to small businesses and government entities,
and reinsurance to managed care companies.
Mr. Pinnock’s entrepreneurial interests carried him to Huffman
Bedford Bounds Consulting, Inc from 1994-2003. Huffman Bedford provided risk
management, business development and general business consulting for an array of clients that included healthcare and educational
institutions, community-based organizations and small businesses.
In 2003 a client of the consulting business recruited him to assist in
starting InShuttle Transportation, Inc. where he serves as President. InShuttle
provides charter and shuttle bus services to corporations and organizations throughout the Middle Tennessee area. His primary responsibilities are strategic planning and business development.
Over the course of his career Mr. Pinnock has received an Associate in
Risk Management certificate from the Insurance Institute of America, completed courses in financial planning, and taxation
and was licensed to sell mutual funds, limited partnerships and various types of insurance.
Mr. Pinnock coordinates the Deacon’s ministry at Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church
in Nashville. And
for five years he oversaw the church’s after-school tutoring program, which now partners with Second Harvest Food Bank,
Vanderbuddies and the Nashville Public Library.
Mr. Pinnock graduated from Fisk University in 1977. From 1998- 2003 he served as Vice-Chair and Treasurer of the University’s General
Alumni Association (National Alumni Association).
He is currently a member of the Firm Foundation Board, Brentwood Coolsprings
Chamber of Commerce and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity.
